Junior Structural Engineer Full-Time Job @LANCO
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer (Junior Static Calculation Engineer) to join our Technical Team. The ideal candidate will support the structural design and analysis of LANCO projects, focusing primarily on static calculations and load-bearing assessments. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers looking to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience under the guidance of senior engineers.
✅ Responsibilities:
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates;
- Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections;
- Collaborate with designers on design and construction of projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates and ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.
- Meeting the manufacturing, technical and customer requirements.
- Ensure that all projects are completed within budget and time.
📃 Qualifications & knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Material resistance (steel, cast iron, cast aluminum, extruded aluminum)
- Material resistance calculation (resistance modulus, static modulus, moment of inertia, bowl/sub-bowl resistance calculation, element thickness)
- Pre-dimensioning/dimensioning of structural elements in the Robot Structural Analysis static calculation program or similar
- Stability calculation (global, local - element buckling, flexural buckling, lateral buckling)
- Optional dynamic calculation/dynamic analysis
- Static analysis and FEM analysis
- Calculation documentation according to Eurocode 3 Metal, Eurocode 9 Aluminum, optional Eurocode 7 Geotechnical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
