  The mission of the Faculty of Civil Engineering was defined in 2003 - on the occasion of its halfcentury birthday - on three coordinates that define a modern university:
• the highest quality standards in education;
• research and development according to international standards;
• relationships with society by generating knowledge, educating professional teaching staff, transferring and applying knowledge.

  The Faculty of Civil Enginnering is now the only tradition faculty in the field of civil engineering in Transylvania; we have 14,000 alumni of who over 600 were overseas students (from Greece, Vietnam, Jordan, Iraq, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Algeria); many of them are now businesspeople, construction engineers, researcers or teachers.
